Our School Values

Respect - “We are all different yet all equal.”

We know that other people are as important as ourselves. They might be different or have different beliefs but they are still equal. 

Independence - “We try to do things by ourselves.”

We try to do tasks on our own and show some perseverance if needed.

Perseverance -  “We always try our best.”

We don’t give up when it gets hard. We try and try again.

Honesty - “We always tell the truth.” 

We know to tell the truth even if we have done something wrong.

Responsibility - “We make sensible choices about what we say and do.”

We understand that we are responsible for ourselves and our world and we make sensible choices to look after ourselves and our world.

Collaboration - “We get on with others.”

We can share, take turns and work together.

We believe that:

We aim to achieve this vision by working together as a team – staff, parents, governors and the local community to:

• Create a safe and nurturing environment where children’s emotional well-being is supported and sense of self-worth is developed
• Promote a high standard of behaviour and an atmosphere where all members of the school are valued as individuals
• Provide a broad and balanced curriculum that is exciting, hands on, inspiring and personalised to our children that will stimulate a natural curiosity about the world around us
• Provide high quality teaching and learning which inspires, motivates and engages all children, to develop a love of learning
• Develop self-motivated and resilient learners who are willing to take risks to achieve challenging goals
